A Brief Company History
Pediatric Health Line was founded by Nikki Steele, RN, a Certified Telephone Triage Nurse with experience working in leading Children’s hospitals across the nation. A mom herself, Nikki knows how important it is for your patients’ parents to have access to expert, professional, compassionate care – no matter what time it is.
A leading expert in pediatric nurse triage systems, Nikki is a frequent guest speaker at area hospitals, clinics, and pediatric offices. It is her commitment to serving patients and supporting pediatricians through excellent after hours telephone triage that shapes everything Pediatric Health Line does.
About the Nurses

Leadership
President - Nikki M. Steele, RN, BSN
Nikki M. Steele is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and received her nursing education from the Medical University of South Carolina. She has worked in major Children’s hospitals all over the United States and has been practicing pediatric nursing for over 13 years. Recognizing the need for a more personal level of service for parents of sick children, she founded Pediatric Health Line to offer her own brand of compassionate professional care to pediatric patients outside of normal office hours. To ensure the highest level of service, Nikki selects, trains, and oversees all of Pediatric Health Line’s nurses.
Nikki is married to her husband, Jake, and they have two beautiful children named Leyson and Isabella. They currently reside on their farm in Columbia, South Carolina and are active members of Radius Chuch.
Medical Director - Kyle Guyton, MD, FAAP
Dr. Kyle Guyton was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina and after graduating from Lexington High School, he furthered his education at the College of Charleston graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He then matriculated to the Medical University of South Carolina earning his Doctorate of Medicine and then pursued a residency in pediatric medicine at the University of South Carolina. In addition he served as Chief Resident during his final year of residency. Upon completion of his residency he began serving in private practice in Batesburg, South Carolina.
Personally, Dr. Guyton married his high school sweetheart, Sara and presently have two beautiful children Gavin, 3 years old, and Madison, 2 years old. They are expecting their third child in May 2010. He and his wife are active members of Lake Murray Baptist Church, where he serves as a Sunday School teacher and his wife is actively involved in the music program.
