Pediatric Health Line as a Complement to Physician Care
Physicians choose PHL because of the quality, care, and compassion of our knowledgeable Registered Nurses (RN’s). Our nurses each have a minimum of 2+ years proven service in pediatrics, are CPR certified, and use Dr. Barton Schmitt and Dr David Thompson protocols to appropriately and reliably respond to patient calls. PHL RN’s work with Physicians to provide excellent care and guidance to patients after-hours.
Patient care is important. Our level of commitment to patient and physician satisfaction is monitored through our Quality Assurance and Improvement (QA&I) Program. These standards are based on the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses (AAACN) Telehealth Standards. We also follow American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for a call center.
